A quiet country campground families have come back to for generations. Owensboro, Kentucky.
For as long as most folks around here can remember, Windy Hollow has been a summer tradition. Families have been packing up the camper and heading out to Windy Hollow for generations, and a lot of the kids who once spent their weekends fishing off the bank now bring children and grandchildren of their own.
It's an easygoing country campground with plenty of room to stretch out — full-hookup RV sites, water-and-sewer sites, primitive spots for tent campers, along with year-round sites for those who decide to stay on for good. Down at the lake there's fishing and swimming on warm weekends.
It's the kind of quiet, family-friendly place where neighbors look out for one another and the loudest thing you'll hear is the crickets.
A site for every kind of camper — from the fully hooked-up RV crowd to the tent-and-a-fire-pit kind of weekend.
Water and sewer hookups. No electric. A step up from primitive.
Water, electric (30 & 50 amp), and sewer. The full setup for your RV.
